Founded in 1990, the Oxford Finance Society (OFS) is the oldest and largest student finance society at the University of Oxford. OFS represents a community of over 4200 members, aiming to promote financial careers, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they require through a diverse range of events run throughout the year.

The society runs a programme of over 30 talks and workshops a year, with many of the most successful individuals and firms in the finance industry. These events offer our members an unparalleled opportunity to meet incredible speakers and learn about careers in finance.

In the past, the society has had the immense privilege of hosting Howard Marks, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Oaktree Capital Management, Lionel Assant, Global Co-CIO of Blackstone, Bill Winters, CEO of Standard Chartered, Fabrizio Campelli, Member of the Management Board and Head of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank, and many more incredible speakers.
